Right now in San Francisco we are
experiencing the most beautiful January ever. The rest of the country
is a frozen block of ice, while Gov. Jerry Brown has just declared
California in a drought emergency. Voluntary water rationing has been
requested, and with no rain forecasted for 3 months, mandatory
rationing seems certain. It appears likely that we'll burn for this
come summer, but I have never, in the 18 years I've lived here,
experienced such perfect weather.
